Diagnosis of knowledge on sports detraining for coaches and managers of high-level soccer competition

Abstract
Introduction: the detraining process at the end of the active life of the athlete has many benefits that support both the physical and mental health of the high competition practitioner, although it is known that in most cases it is not carried out correctly. That is why there is a need to investigate the knowledge that coaches and managers of high competition have on how to prepare players of the first category of soccer in Camagüey based on the next stages of life, in this sense it is known that the orientation is insufficient, inadequate and untimely.
Objective: to determine the level of knowledge of coaches and managers for high competition on the detraining process in soccer.
Materials and methods: methods such as analysis and synthesis, inductive-deductive, surveys, interviews and observational control guide were used that allowed to diagnose the current state of knowledge on the subject and the theoretical-practical results offered.
Results: deficiencies were indicated in the knowledge about the detraining process in high-level soccer competition related to the established steps of orientation, planning and detraining, which is confirmed by the results provided.
Conclusions: there were deficiencies in the coaches of high-level soccer competition regarding the detraining process and a preparation process for coaches of high-level soccer competition in Camagüey is required.
