The infotechnology and its incidence in the training in the research competence of the teacher of higher education through the use of technologies

Abstract
A globalized world has forced all individuals in their different activities, academic levels and social conditions to develop a proactive attitude to changes and advances in technology, with greater emphasis on the university teacher, generator of science and new knowledge. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to analyze the level of empowerment and use of Infotechnology for the research processes carried out by the teachers of the Distance Studies Unit of the State Technical University of Quevedo, with the application of an interactive questionnaire. according to the Likert scale, the same one that will reveal the empowerment and management of the infotechnology tools in research processes carried out by the teacher in his activities as a university professor. From these antecedents and with the use and processing of the theoretical information referring to the present study, it is concluded that the systematic use of Infotechnology resources contributes to the formation of the research competence, improving the levels of scientific production.
