Abstract

Although there are many players, few know most of the proverbs, which are crucial for advancing levels, this is just as important as understanding that shogi goes beyond just the game, the philosophy behind it, its teachings and its community. In this paper the authors chose the most complete list and then summarized and classified the proverbs according to the teaching they convey. Also, they defined what proverbs are and their importance for the human development of values and principles. Finally, the teachings of each group of proverbs were described by extrapolating their teaching to everyday life. In the future, more work on proverbs is needed as more uses are found for life
through analysis and philosophy, as well as advances in the way they can reach the audience and be taught in a more interactive and meaningful way so that they can be known and acquired by learners of all ages.
