Ejercicios físicos para tratar enfermedades de la columna vertebral en plano sagital en profesionales de estomatología

Abstract
The work was carried out with the objective of solving the bibliographic deficit that exists in the Physical Education subject on the interrelation between physical exercise and professional illnesses, in accordance with those conditions that usually occur in the subjects of different stomatology specialties, when adopting vicious postures during the development of their work. The subject is taught to students of the second year of the Stomatology career, limited documentation to perform theoretical activities and deepen the systematic study of the different pathologies and exercises that can be implemented to avoid or reduce the conditions caused by incorrect postures in sagittal plane; also to incorporate into their routines exercises that strengthen those muscular planes that intervene in these conditions. The work has a prophylactic and instructive purpose; allows students to recognize the early appearance of deformations and contributes to a more efficient preparation of those professionals in training, both in the individual and collective field; it provides them with a higher level of cognitive independence and favors the development of intellectual abilities. For the preparation of the work, various bibliographical sources were consulted. Its elaboration makes possible the practical understanding of each exercise according to the deformity in question, responds to the documentation needs and provides knowledge related to physical exercises of the Therapeutic Physical Culture
