Education for the prevention/reduction of the sedentarismo: a necessity in the present world
Main Article Content
Abstract
The present research aims to determine the basic elements that support the need for education for the prevention / reduction of sedentarism in adults aged 25 to 40 years in the residential area "Gninin" of the Akassato district of the Republic of Benin. The results obtained in the diagnostic stage, with the application of documentary analysis, survey, time budget study and the realization of a workshop of analysis and pedagogical reflection, revealed insufficiencies that are reflected in the little mastery of concepts, the benefits of physical activity for health, as well as how to interrupt sedentary time during activities that generate no or very little energy expenditure. As a result, we obtain a new classification of both physical inactivity and physical inactivity and the concept of education for the prevention of sedentary lifestyle
